We’re proud to announce a new release of the user manual for GIMP 2.2
Version 2.3.13 is another development snapshot before the upcoming GIMP 2.4 release. The source code can be downloaded from the usual places. If you want to try this unstable development snapshot, please read the release notes for the development releases.
Apart from a lot of bug-fixes and cleanups, this release has some nice new features like handling of embedded color profiles, scalable brushes, an improved help browser and a new Script-Fu Scheme interpreter. The NEWS file lists more changes, the ChangeLog has all the details.
Version 2.3.12 is a snapshot of the development towards GIMP 2.4. We are mostly polishing things at this point, but a few features are still waiting to be added. Version 2.2.13 of the GNU Image Manipulation Program is a bug-fix release in the stable 2.2 series. Please see the NEWS file for a detailed list of changes. The source code is available from ftp.gimp.org. For some platforms binary packages are already available, others will follow.

Version 2.2.12 of the GNU Image Manipulation Program is now available. This is a bug-fix release in the stable 2.2 series. Please see the NEWS file for a detailed list of changes. This release fixes a security hole in the XCF parser. An update is strongly recommended.

Please note that gimp-gap 2.2.1 requires gimp 2.2 and glib 2.8 or higher. It is recommended to use gtk+ 2.8. The source code can be downloaded from ftp.gimp.org; binary packages should become available soon.
