GTk+ and GIMP for Windows

GIMP Pages -- Windows port

Originally (in 1997, I think it was) I started doing the port of GIMP to Windows because my slide scanner (a Minolta Dimâge Scan Dual) isn't supported by SANE. I am thus forced to use it in Windows.

I did look into reverse engineering the protocol to be able to use the scanner under Linux, but that seemed very hard. Thus I had to use it on Windows. And thus I thought that I would like to be able to use the GIMP in Windows, too.

I thought, what the heck, let's try, it might be an interesting intellectual challenge. Maybe I'm a bit perverted, but I actually have enjoyed the porting, even if I do much prefer Unix to Windows.
